Afundi: A Year in Review
As we reflect on Afundi’s sixth year in business, one thing is clear: 2025 has been a year defined by growth, creativity and meaningful partnerships. It has been our busiest year yet and one that has reminded us why we love what we do.
We were delighted to welcome Christine to the team as our Project Coordinator. Her clarity, organisation and positive energy have made an immediate impact, bringing structure to our projects and a genuine spark to the office. We also welcomed back Chester, our full stack developer, who returned after a full year in the Philippines. The studio felt instantly more complete with him back, even if we are still not entirely sure whether his branded Afundi shorts survived the trip.
It was also a year of major project milestones, with new brands, websites and digital platforms launched across a wide range of industries.
Community remained central to our year. We proudly sponsored the Startup Grind Isle of Man Christmas Drinks with our friends at Great Minds Marketing, bringing founders and innovators together to celebrate another strong year for the island’s business community.

A Year of Meaningful Work
We partnered with more than 25 new clients across finance, law, childcare, lifestyle, recruitment, medical, eGaming and property. Our work spanned rebrands, refreshes, new websites and custom software projects.
Together with our clients, we delivered a selection of standout projects, including:
- H&B Group: a modernised corporate brand and digital presence.
- MAC Group: a refreshed brand and website supporting continued growth.
- isleofman.com: a complete redesign of the island’s go to business directory.
- Gaming Corps: a dynamic platform showcasing more than 80 eGaming titles.
- Koops and Co: a people first brand and website for a family led estate agency.
- Victoria House Nursery: a vibrant rebrand and website celebrating a beloved Douglas nursery.
- Synapse: an out of the box website for a bold IT provider.
Each project was shaped through close collaboration, creative problem solving and a shared commitment to quality. Looking back, we are genuinely proud of everything we created together.

The People Behind the Work
This year was defined by the people who bring Afundi to life. Our studio ran on strong coffee, shared playlists (3FM mainly) and plenty of collaborative energy. We celebrated launches together, refined ideas across desks and supported one another through busy periods.
We also made time to step away from our screens. Bowling nights, sushi lunches, sunny afternoons on the Quay and picnics at the Nunnery gave us space to reset and reconnect. The year was filled with countless office treats too, from Easter eggs to Noa Bakehouse spider cookies at Halloween to advent calendars in December. We celebrated team birthdays with all the confetti and cake we could find.
And of course, Charlie remained at the centre of studio life. He greeted clients, supervised lunches and made sure we all took regular breaks. He even hopped onto a client’s lap during a presentation meeting, settled in and went straight to sleep. He continues to be our unofficial Chief Morale Officer and a very good boy.
As the year draws to a close, we’re saying goodbye to frosty mornings at the Nunnery and stepping into a new season of ideas, collaboration and creativity.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for our clients, our community and our growing team. Every project this year has been a partnership and every success has been shared.
Here is to everything we achieved together in 2025 and to what comes next for Afundi.
