About Afundi
Afundi is a full-service design and development studio based in Douglas, and one of the Isle of Man's leading creative agencies. Strategy, design and development all happen in-house, so you will collaborate closely with our strategists and developers on every project.
Because there are no agency handoffs, our designers stay close to the work from first idea to final delivery. You will see your ideas through, have a real voice in creative decisions and learn from a senior team that values clear thinking as much as great craft.
We work with ambitious local businesses and international clients across eGaming, lifestyle, hospitality, finance, telecoms and corporate services, including Manx Telecom Group, Cains, Heron & Brearley, Gaming Corps, Van Kaizen, Atla Group and Maher Law. That means varied, high-profile work, from brand repositioning to enterprise platforms, and plenty of room to grow your skills and your career.
About the role
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to support our Senior Designer on fast-moving creative projects. You will help bring new brands to life, refresh existing ones and make sure every piece of work we deliver is consistent, considered and polished.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, works well at pace and wants to grow their skills within an established agency team. We welcome applications from recent graduates with a great portfolio.
Key responsibilities

- Apply and extend brand systems across print, digital, social and presentation materials.
- Help create and maintain brand guidelines so clients can use their brand consistently.
- Prepare print-ready and digital artwork to a high standard, checking files carefully before delivery.
- Produce client-ready presentations and documents in PowerPoint and Word.
- Create templates and assets in Canva that clients can update themselves.
- Support the wider team on website design projects where needed, working with the design files in Figma.
- Work on several projects at a time with support from the Senior Designer, helping to keep work on track and raising any questions or concerns early.
Essential skills and experience

- Basic working knowledge of Figma.
- Some experience maintaining a brand system or brand guidelines.
- A strong portfolio showing brand and identity work.
- A good eye for typography, layout and detail.
- Clear communication and the ability to take feedback and act on it quickly.
Desirable skills and experience
You do not need all of these to apply, but any of the following would be a bonus:
- Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects for video and motion work.
- Knowledge of the print process, including file preparation, colour and finishes.
- A basic understanding of UI and UX design principles.
- Previous experience working in a design or creative agency.
- A degree or diploma in graphic design or a related subject.
- Experience designing on Mac and working with Apple devices.
What we offer
- A salary of £25,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience, benchmarked against the National Careers Service graphic designer profile.
- Flexible working, with the option to work from home.
- 25 days paid time off plus all Manx Bank Holidays
- Company pension, after a qualifying period.
- Private medical cover, after a qualifying period.
- A personal learning and development budget.
